VoIP Phone Systems
VoIP phones are making a splash in the business setting recently. VoIP (Voice over IP) is essentially an "internet phone", which requires and internet connection to connect the calls. Because of this, there are some specific advantages that your agency may benefit from. Firstly, you can connect your number to a softphone (software phone) on your smartphone so that if you are out of the office, you can still take calls from the exact same number. Secondly, you may be able to save money, depending on your current set up. Lastly, since there is a software component to the phone service (some providers are RingCentral, Vonage, Nextiva), there are configurable settings where you can restrict open phone times, DND messages, and more.
Since they VoIP phones do require an internet connection, make sure that the phone has access to an unused ethernet connection or make sure that the phone has a WiFi Mode allowing it to connect wirelessly. This also means that the WiFi signal strength needs to be decent at the location of the phone from the router.
